Bark / Mulch

Bark/Mulch is any type of material that is spread or laid over the surface of the soil as a covering. It is used to retain moisture in the soil, suppress weeds, keep the soil cool and make the garden bed look more attractive. Organic mulches also help improve the soil’s fertility, as they decompose.

Organic mulch will decompose and have to be replaced, however in the process it will also improve your soil’s fertility and, of course, its organic content. Generally the dryer and woodier the mulch, the slower it will decompose and the less nutrients it will give to the soil.

Bark mulches are best used in open areas to suppress weed growth. around trees, shrubs and in garden beds where you won’t be doing a lot of digging, like front walkways and foundation plantings. These woody mulches don’t mix well into the soil and it can become a hassle to have to keep moving them aside to make way for new plants.

Landscape Install

Landscaping adds beauty and value to your home. No investment into your property is as visible, or as valuable as your landscape. A quality landscape design and installation by qualified and dedicated professionals can add thousands of dollars to the value of your home. Landscape installation can be quite a task. Even seasoned gardeners can err. When it comes to installing living organisms, there usually aren’t any second chances. An error in installation can ruin your expensive trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses. Professional landscape installation ensures that your landscape will start out strong and continue to grow and thrive.
You deserve to have the lawn and gardens that you have always dreamed of without the hassle and back-breaking labor.

Low Voltage Lighting

The aesthetic charm of lighting your home and landscape at night is magical. Landscape lighting brings out the beauty of your property and home, creating shape and mood.

Flowers add a touch of beauty and color to any garden or landscape. Depending on the design of your garden, flowers can also be the focus point of your natural masterpiece. It is said that there is an art to flower care. Badgley’s Landscape can work with you on your layout to add that lovely splash of color that seasonal flowers can provide. We strongly believe that color can help soften the look of a landscape design as well as bring a positive image to the property.

Irrigation Installation

Properly designed. Installed, maintained and managed irrigation systems continuously beautify lawns and gardens. While greatly reducing the volume of water that is wasted each year.

Sod Installation

Sodding your lawn allows you to enjoy the beauty of a living turfgrass carpet instantly without the usual time-consuming hassles of seeding. Sod can be installed anytime the ground isn’t frozen. It offers more dependable results on hillsides and steep slopes where erosion is a problem and on high-traffic areas.Compared to spring seedings, sod gives little opportunity for weed species, especially crabgrass, to get established.

Water feature Installation

Water features are both beautiful to look at and soothing to listen to. It’s the only landscape element that contains sound. You can alter the types of sounds you hear by placing small flat rocks on the spillways and waterfalls to create “gurgling” or splashing effects. Kids love ponds and water features too!

There are two main sources of water which must be considered. The first is surface water, which comes directly from rain, ending up on the land.
The second actually is from rain also, but in this case it hits the roof of the house, running into the gutters.
These gutters, which can collect a large amount of rain water, connect to leader pipes usually attached to house corners. And where does this water end up? On your property also.
There are other sources of water to be considered as well, run off from new construction next door for example, or maybe a plugged up drain on the property.
Badgley’s Landscape can help you to identify drainage problems on your property, and come up with the best solution to eliminate these problem areas for good!
